AI Presentation Tools: Build the Sales Argument First + Free Sales Deck Framework and Prompt (Word)
AI can arrange slides quickly while leaving a buyer unsure what problem you solve, why to trust you, what it costs and what happens next. Answer those questions before choosing a generator.
This official-information guide compares workflows, not measured speed, design quality or conversion performance. Use the comparison, eight-slide framework and full prompt below.
Match the tool to the delivery workflow
Gamma supports content import and presentation exports; if you need PPTX, include opening and editing that export in PowerPoint in your trial. Canva Magic Design can produce presentation drafts within its design environment; consider the brand templates and assets your team already uses. PowerPoint Copilot can reference source files, with availability depending on licensing and organisational settings. Teams already delivering in PowerPoint can evaluate it before adding another conversion step. Official sources: Gamma import; Gamma export; Canva Magic Design; PowerPoint Copilot.
Tool | Workflow to evaluate | Before delivery |
|---|---|---|
Gamma | Source-to-shareable presentation | Open and edit PPTX |
Canva | Reuse brand design assets | Fonts, assets and format |
PowerPoint Copilot | Existing PowerPoint workflow | Licence, settings and sources |
Supply facts, not a request to sound impressive
Prepare the audience, meeting objective, product description, approved prices, publishable examples, brand template and prohibited claims. Attach a source to each number. If there is no client case study, show a clearly labelled method, example or pilot plan. Do not ask AI to invent successful customers.
For an AI customer-service proposal, “help organise common enquiries and hand them to a person” is different from an unsupported promise to cut cost by 80%. Separate intended outcomes from measured achievements.
Free resource: Sales Deck Framework and Prompt
Build an eight-slide sales argument and use the prompt with verified source material. Get an editable Word version to adapt and reuse for your team.

Slide | Main question | Source fields |
|---|---|---|
1 | What decision is needed? | audience and objective:___ |
2 | Problem and consequence | customer facts and source:___ |
3 | Desired outcome | measure, baseline, assumptions:___ |
4 | How it works | steps, owners, scope:___ |
5 | Why believe it? | case or example, limits:___ |
6 | Delivery and timing | milestones and dependencies:___ |
7 | Price and options | approved price and exclusions:___ |
8 | Next action | action and owner:___ |
Fill the source fields in the eight-slide table below before drafting. Keep one argument per slide. Missing evidence is a research task, not a reason to add decorative charts. This is a first-presentation framework, not an eight-slide limit for every tender or technical proposal.
Copyable prompt: “Using only the supplied files, create an eight-slide sales deck following this framework. For each slide provide a title, one message, up to three supporting points, a suggested visual and speaker notes. List missing information in editorial actions. Invent no customers, numbers, quotations, testimonials or guarantees. Preserve prices and conditions exactly. Separate assumptions from verified outcomes. Produce the outline first and design only after approval.”
Inspect the file that will be delivered
Check sources, numbers and consistency across slides. Open the actual output in the recipient's software. Inspect Chinese fonts, wrapping, tables, images, links and notes. If editable charts were promised, a flattened screenshot does not meet that requirement.
Rehearse a five-minute explanation and read the PDF without narration. Include correction, conversion and fact-checking time in the comparison.
Budget and timing
For eight slides, Allua suggests HK$2,000–4,000 for source organisation and narrative, HK$3,000–7,000 for design and visuals, and HK$1,000–3,000 for figures, bilingual checks and export review. Total planning allowance: HK$6,000–14,000 over roughly 4–8 working days, including two revision rounds. Deeper research, video, animation and extra slides are separate; software licensing follows the actual plan.
If an existing draft takes three hours to adapt to a company template and one hour to verify, those four hours remain production cost even if generation took a minute.
FAQ
Can the company website be the only input? It can supply public facts, but add the intended audience, objective, prices and valid examples. PDF or PowerPoint? PDF suits reading and review; editable delivery requires checking the editable file. Which subscription is best? Use the same eight-slide source pack and compare correction time, collaboration and final output rather than declaring an untested winner.
Ask Allua to turn company material into a sales narrative and deck. Share audience, meeting objective, source files and delivery format. Use the separate free-resource button above for the Word file.
